Cancellation Policy/Schedule Changes (Fees May Apply)

Submit cancellations/schedule changes via text or phone to 678-431-1196. 

Although a 7-day notice is appreciated, to avoid fees we require notice of at least 1 BUSINESS DAY prior to the original service date.

Reminders

Reminders are sent via email and text message, but customers have the capability to opt out of one or the other. Please contact your office to do so.

Pay with ease! Spruce Cleaning Co. accepts Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo.

At Spruce Cleaning Co., we stand behind the quality of our work. If you have any concerns, they must be reported within 48 hours of your cleaning. If the service does not meet the agreed-upon scope, we will return to address the issue at no additional charge. Please refrain from making any corrections before contacting our management team, as we must have the opportunity to assess and resolve the concern. Please note that discounts or credits are not provided.

Communications With The Office Vs. Cleaners

To ensure your cleaning requests are properly documented and fulfilled, all instructions should be communicated directly to our office. This allows us to record your preferences in our system, ensuring accuracy and consistency in your service.

Providing instructions directly to the cleaners can result in missing important details that may affect billing, scheduling adjustments due to staff absences, or overall service quality.

Additionally, while we welcome a diverse team, we cannot guarantee that all employees will speak your native language. To prevent miscommunication, please share all requests with our office so we can relay them accurately to our cleaning team.

Supplies and Equipment

We provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are tested, proven, and our team is trained in their proper use. If you prefer that we use your personal supplies or equipment, we are happy to do so; however, we cannot be held liable for any damage they may cause to surfaces or to the equipment itself. Additionally, if your products or equipment require extra time to use, an adjustment to your pricing may be necessary.

Cleaning Area Restrictions

Due to liability purposes  we clean surfaces and areas within normal reach. For high or hard-to-reach spots, please let us know—we may be able to accommodate on a case-by-case basis. Typically no outside cleaning; outside living space only unless approved prior to booking. 

Dishes

At Spruce, we focus on providing exceptional cleaning services that leave your home refreshed and spotless.  White we handle all standard cleaning tasks with care, we do not include dishwashing in our services to ensure our team can dedicate time to the detailed cleaning our clients value. 

Skip Service Policy

If you are a routine customer and need to reschedule a cleaning, your next service will be billed at the appropriate frequency rate. For example, if you typically receive bi-weekly cleanings but skip a visit, your next cleaning will be charged at the monthly rate. This ensures our team has the necessary time to address the additional dust and dirt buildup.

Our routine service rates are discounted because frequent cleanings prevent significant dirt accumulation. If your service is paused for more than six weeks, we can no longer honor the discounted routine rate. In this case, you will need to schedule a one-time deep clean before resuming routine services.

For monthly customers, we strongly encourage rescheduling rather than skipping a cleaning. If your cleaning is delayed beyond two weeks, a deep clean may be required. If rescheduling is impacted by Spruce Cleaning Co.'s availability, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.

Pet Policy

For the safety of both your pets and our team, we ask that all animals be secured in a designated area while we clean. While we take great care, we cannot be held responsible for any pet escapes. Additionally, to ensure the well-being of our employees, we must take precautions against potential pet-related incidents, including bites or attacks.

If no one is home and a pet is loose, our cleaners have the right to refuse entry if they feel unsafe. To help us prepare accordingly, please inform us at the time of booking if you have pets in the home.

Solicitation Of Spruce Cleaning Co. Employees

At Spruce Cleaning Co., we take great pride in our dedicated team and invest significant time, resources, and effort into recruiting, hiring, and training the best professionals. Our employment agreements prohibit employees from accepting private work from our clients unless expressly approved by Spruce Cleaning Co. We kindly ask that you do not solicit our employees for side jobs or direct hire outside of this agreement.
